InCoWriMo 2016 + Free Calendar Planner
Few days ago I came across the notion of the InCoWriMo = International Correspondence Writing Month. If you are familiar =with NaNoWriMo (national Novel Writing Month), you might have guessed what is InCoWriMo stands for.
Basic Rules – You need to write letter/postcard every day for the month of February.
I’ve poked around the web, and found official website for this project – incowrimo.org – with the short description on what this project is about:
“InCoWriMo is the short name for International Correspondence Writing Month, otherwise known as February.
With an obvious nod to NaNoWriMo for the inspiration, InCoWriMo challenges you to hand-write and mail/deliver one letter, card, note or postcard every day during the month of February.
It’s simple. It’s fun. It’s rewarding.”
I personally Love mail, love getting letters and packages and a mailbox key is my prized possession 🙂 So needless to say – I decided I just have to participate in this project.
Starting February 1, i will write a letter or a postcard every day. I’ve made a list of people I want to write to, but I also have a few days left without a recipient. I guess I will post on social media (Facebook and Instagram) to see who wants to get a note from me. If you want a letter – let me know by leaving a comment here or writing an email 🙂
I also hope that this project will stick around and turn into a popular movement just as NaNoWriMo did.
Additionally, I’ve noticed that official website for InCoWriMo had a planning calendar for 2015, but the website is not updated with the info for 2016. With only a week left for preparation for the monthly challenge, I decided to create my own template and share with you. Here is how it looks:
I thought it can be a great idea to not only use this template to preplan Who you will write to on what day, but also it can be useful to prepare and write down addresses for all recepients.
